Beiseker Blazers Hockey Club

Hockey is more than just a sport in Beiseker; it’s a tradition. The Beiseker Blazers Hockey Club is a cornerstone of our community, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels. All children between the ages of 5 and 17 are welcome to join Beiseker Minor Hockey. The season runs from October to March, and volunteer coaches and managers are always needed. Watch for more information at the Community Connections evening held in September.  The local arena, The Doug Hagel Arena, is equipped with modern facilities and hosts regular games and tournaments. Beiseker Ladies Hockey

For women looking to hit the ice, Beiseker Ladies Hockey is a Tier 5 team that offers both friendly and competitive play. This recreational league competes against teams from surrounding areas, traveling to places like Drumheller and Cremona. Their home games are held at the Beiseker arena, typically on Sunday nights at 7:30 pm. In a regular season, the team plays approximately 35 games, and they also participate in a few tournaments throughout the year, concluding the season with their own tournament.

Young athletes can develop their basketball skills through our Beiseker Community School basketball program. Youth can learn the fundamentals and enjoy the sport, and participate in the upcoming season.  Reach out to our faculty to get involved and learn more about the upcoming basketball season.

Airdrie Edge Gymnastics

The Airdrie Edge Gymnastics Club is a short drive away and offers classes for children of all ages, from beginners to advanced gymnasts. The club focuses on building strength, flexibility, and coordination in a fun and supportive environment.  They offer Gymnastics, Trampoline, and Parkour classes for all ages and levels from preschool to competitive! Acme Swimming

During the summer months, the Acme Swimming Pool provides public swim lessons and competitive swimming opportunities for kids. The Learn to Skate program is structured for children ages 3 years and up. The program runs from November until March at the Beiseker Arena. Registration is held at the Community Connections evening in September at the Beiseker Community School.
