St. Mary's Catholic Church

The parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin, or St. Mary’s was established in 1910, on the site that is today home of the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beiseker.  Before the church was built masses were held in parish homes, and a priest visited from other rural communities when they could. More history about the church and other historic churches in Beiseker is available in Beiseker’s Golden Heritage Book. This beautiful church was built in 1955.

Baptist

Tri-Community Baptist Church

Our church was founded in 1981 for the purpose of teaching others the love of God, learning about God and sharing Him with our world. In the spring of 1981, Pastor Richard Grabke of Carbon Baptist Church and Allan Johnson met with four families in Beiseker; from these individuals, the church began. The church had its first service on July 19, 1981 in the Beiseker Community Hall. Their desire was to share God’s love with their friends and neighbours. They were passionate about making the transformational love of God real and relevant. Wanting to become an established presence in the community, 3.9 acres was purchased on the south end of Beiseker.

In 1982 our present facility was built, and our ministry began with Allan Johnson, our first pastor. Since then, and for the past 34 years, we have influenced many who have come through our church doors with the love of God. We continue to influence our community with the gospel through ministries such as meeting the practical needs of people in our community, special events, and, of course, Sunday Morning Services. Our mission is the same as it was when our church first started – to impact Beiseker and the world with the love and message of Christ.
