Beiseker Chamber of Commerce Highway Sign Upgrade: A Community-Led Initiative

Discover Beiseker: Chamber of Commerce Update

The highway signs have always been a key part of how we welcome travelers, visitors, and potential residents to Beiseker. However, over time, the original signs had become worn and outdated. They had served our village well for many years but were in desperate need of an upgrade. That’s when a group of committed Chamber members came together to brainstorm ways to revitalize these important landmarks.

The Beiseker Chamber of Commerce is excited to share an update on one of its most important community-driven projects—the upgrade of our signage along Highway 72! What makes this project truly special is that it was a 100% Chamber of Commerce initiative, completely planned, executed, and brought to life by a team of dedicated volunteers. From start to finish, this project was driven by community members who saw the need for improvement and took action.

Much Better!

FAQs

The Beiseker Chamber of Commerce is responsible for the upgrades. This initiative was carried out 100% by Chamber members, with no external funding or assistance. The entire project was completed by volunteers from the Chamber who generously donated their time and skills to bring this project to life.

The signs had become weathered and outdated, making it necessary to give them a fresh look. The new signs are not only designed to be more attractive but also more durable and easier to maintain. This project was undertaken to enhance Beiseker’s image and make sure the village is well-represented to travelers and potential new residents.

Unlike the previous signs, where decals were applied directly to plywood, the new signs are printed on individual aluminum panels. This means that if a sign needs to be replaced or updated, the aluminum panel can be easily swapped out without having to redo the entire structure, saving time and resources.

The entire project was funded and carried out by the Beiseker Chamber of Commerce. It was a grassroots effort with no outside funding or external contractors. All the work was completed by volunteers from the Chamber of Commerce.

The Beiseker Chamber of Commerce always welcomes new members and volunteers who want to contribute to community projects.
